Samuel Bio joined Aduana Stars after parting ways with Medeama and has since been in the mix to deliver when called upon.
As Aduana Stars prepared to battle Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium in the GPL week-10 fixture, many players were interviewed and made lots of promises including his own teammate Yahaya Mohammed who promised to score against his former club Kotoko.
Yahaya promised same against Accra Hearts of Oak and delivered and this made people fear his statement. During the game, maximum attention was channeled to Yahaya Mohammed by the Kotoko players following the promise he made giving room for many other players to operate.
With many wondering whether it was the tactics of Paa Kwesi Fabin to use the destructive comment of his striker to play to his advantage of it only got to Kotoko due to their previous encounter with the player.
The fans of Kumasi Asante Kotoko are known to be very jubilant when their team wins and they had another in waiting as they went into the game against Aduana at the Accra Sports Stadium but their party was cut short.
With proceedings looking to end in a goalless draw, Aduana Stars quickly remembered the pace of Samuel Bio who would on any day chase for the spoils. They relied on his pace and Bio did not disappoint as he rocketed one past the Kotoko goal.
This stunner got the entire Kotoko team confused and scattered as they tried with all their ammunition to draw parity but Aduana were resilient in defense and allowed nothing past them.
It ended in a crying affair for the home team as they watched all three points been taken from them with nothing to do.
