The Black Queens of Ghana in their first tie AWCON qualifiers game against the Super Falcons of Nigeria lost by two goal to nil making the job very difficult for coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo. AFter their return to Ghana, the gaffer has assured the fans of the team that there is no need to panic as his team were not lucky in their first leg tie.
With the return encounter scheduled for Sunday 24th October 2021 at the Accra Sports Stadium, Coach Tagoe-Quarcoo and her team have intensified their training to ensure victory against the Super Falcons during their visit to Ghana.
As many have lashed out at the coach and her technical team for sidelining the skipper of the side following her comments about getting the right preparations prior to such tournaments, Coach Tagoe-Quarcoo has asked for all such matters to be put aside so the team can concentrate on the task ahead come Sunday.
